Lost: The Complete Series

Lost is up there with Dexter, The Sopranos, and Weeds as one of the best shows of the 21st century! As a guy who has already seen every single episode of all six seasons of Lost, I am still planning on buying the complete Lost series on DVD because this is the kind of show that will be very fun to view a second time (and there is a lot of cool bonus features included with the complete collection.)

If you are new to Lost then I am jealous of you to be able to experience it for the very first time still. It is really that good of a show. it is the kind of TV series that you are likely to remember for the rest of your days.

To really get the most out of watching Lost for the first time you really must order the complete Lost series box set and then avoid all spoilers as much as you can. A great part of this series is having the mysteries revealed slowly in amazingly unexpected ways. Don’t screw that up by looking up spoilers!

Also it’s important to watch it from beginning to end in order. This is a real “serial” where every episode leads to the next. It’s all “one story” instead of a show where every episode has it’s own internal logic.

I really must warn anyone reading this that Lost is very addictive and that you very well may find yourself watching five episodes in a single day (and yes I actually did that once!) It’s one of those things where every episode really has you needing to know what happens next.

I must also mention that this is a thinking person’s show. What’s going on will not always be obvious. If you’re looking fors stupid entertainment, you should look elsewhere. You will have to make use of your brain as you watch Lost.
